Community Schools are transforming outcomes for students across Massachusetts by strengthening the connection between schools, families, and community partners.

Whether you're new to Community Schools or already leading this work, join us at the Massachusetts Community Schools Fundamentals Conference on December 1-2, 2026, at UMass Boston.

Connect with educators, school and district leaders, community partners, municipal and state leaders, policymakers, funders, and civic leaders from across the Commonwealth.

  • Day 1: Community Schools Fundamentals:
    • Designed for district and school-based staff, municipal leaders, state partners, and others looking to deepen their understanding of the Community Schools strategy and its role in supporting student and family success.
  • Day 2: Going Deeper into Practice
    • Designed for current Community School leaders and practitioners, featuring promising practices from across Massachusetts and opportunities to learn from peers implementing this work every day.

Together, we'll explore what makes Community Schools work, learn from communities leading the way, and identify how we can help every child thrive in a supportive community.
