Protecting Public Health in a Shifting Federal Landscape

As federal policies and funding streams continue to evolve, the implications for Massachusetts’ public health system – and the safety net that supports our communities - are coming into sharper focus. At a moment when our collective work and access to basic needs is facing mounting pressure, your voice matters.

Join us for a timely, leadership dialogue exploring how federal changes are affecting social determinants of health and community well-being across our region, and what leaders can do now to respond.

United Way of Massachusetts Bay will convene a small group of state and local leaders, policy experts, and community voices for an interactive exchange designed to examine emerging risks, highlight areas of resilience, and identify actions needed to sustain progress together.

Discussion topics will include:
•    Federal funding and policy shifts putting pressure on the safety net in Massachusetts
•    Implications for the regio's public health infrastructure and community wellbeing
•    Opportunities for funders and policymakers to help safeguard progress and stabilize systems
